Special Container Italy Import Process

Hello everyone, today I’d like to share a special container import case we’ve been handling for several years.

The client imports large agricultural machinery from Italy, but the overseas shipper was unable to complete compliant lashing and securing for the flat rack container, nor could they provide the professional lashing certificate required by the shipping line.

Upon receiving the request, we immediately coordinated with local resources in Italy and arranged a professional low-bed trailer to transport the machinery from the shipper’s factory to our yard in Ancona, Italy. There, our technical team completed the flat rack loading, professional lashing and securing, and full tarping on-site, while simultaneously issuing a lashing certificate that met shipping line standards. Meanwhile, our routing team had already arranged the booking and was tracking the ocean freight status throughout.

After the cargo arrived at Tianjin Port, we completed import customs clearance the same day, then proceeded with safe unstuffing, professional lifting at our affiliated Tianjin yard, and finally delivered the cargo intact and on time to the client’s designated location via truck.
