Freight Forwarder Daily Life

Published on May 5, 2025

Hello everyone, another week has gone by — a very fulfilling one. Handled some Italian wine imports, handled some Greek olive oil imports. Handled some import customs clearance and delivery in Beijing, handled some air freight exports to Europe, Handled some Shanghai LCL to Europe door-to-door, handled some Shenzhen FCL to Europe, Handled some Shanghai FCL to the US, and also handled some bonded warehouse entry/exit declarations. Of course, I also quoted on plenty of inquiries that vanished without a trace — friends, when you get quotes, please give some feedback! So don’t ask me what my main business is — whatever the client needs, that’s what I do. Also managed to sneak in a day trip to the Great Wall with two foreign friends. Made a hospital run for a follow-up checkup — thankfully nothing serious, just a false alarm. Despite seeing news about running being hard on the heart, sitting around all day isn’t good either, so I still went for a couple of slow jogs. Moderate exercise is a must — otherwise this body won’t hold up. Especially need to shed some of that liver fat. Anyway, that’s the daily life of a freight forwarder. Friends, how was your week?
